“Road To Reviews,” Iggy Loo, Day 15

p26I got to LA bright and early to take in all the sights and hob nob with the famous folks. I went to Hollywood Boulevard and saw all sorts of interesting people. I saw over 2500 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and slipped my feet into the Hollywood greats like Michael Jackson and The Beatles. Afterwards I headed off the the Los Angeles Zoo where the just finished a dinosaur exhibit. Starting November 18 they have Reindeer Romp where you can say hellos to Santa’s reindeer and take pictures with them! I got mine early.

The day wouldn’t be complete without a visit with my friend Trina. She was gracious enough to do a review of my holiday picture book Iggy Loo. Make yourself a cup of coco and take a listen.

Trina writes: The holidays are almost here and Maria Ashworth’s new book joins us at the perfect time. It’s a well-written and beautifully illustrated holiday children’s book that is ultimately about following our dreams and a reminder of the importance of family. A sweet and child-like penguin named Iggy Loo watches from inside his snow globe during the holidays. He craves the same adventures of his beloved red-headed girl, but sadly is returned to a box in the closet each year, only to emerge again during the next holiday season. Find out what happens when an accident removes Iggy Loo from his comfort zone and his wish comes true.” Iggy Loo” is a wonderful addition to any home’s holiday tradition. Curl up with your children by a warm fire, a hot cup of cocoa filled with yummy marshmallows, and open this book. The balance of exploring our ambitions while discovering that home and family is always right in front of us is something to be cherished. Iggy Loo is a beautiful addition to any holiday tradition!
